I just found Build a Business with Google, by Eric Redmond, which has lots of cool tips. One that is immediately useful to me is the steps in configuring a Blogger-hosted blog to appear in my own domain name space. His steps are:

  1. Create a blog with Blogger.

  2. Create a domain name for the blog, in this case maniagnosis.crsr.net. The name should be a CNAME alias for "ghs.google.com.", including the period on the end. (For what the final period means, see the DNS RFC's.)

  3. In Blogger's Settings, go to Publishing, Custom Domain, Switch to Advanced Settings, and enter Your Domain.

Seems to work pretty well.

Expect maniagnosis.crsr.net soon! (maniagnosis.blogspot.com will redirect).
