Mark Dominus vs. ELISP

Mark Dominus (author of Higher Order Perl, the best Perl book I have seen) had some problems with Emacs configuration earlier this year. His first problem appears to have been going to IRC for help. Before reading the manual or checking the FAQ.

I'm disappointed.
